New Developments

University Centre in partnership with National University of Ireland, Galway.
Representatives from Comharchumann Forbartha Chorca Dhuibhne met with representatives from National University of Ireland, Galway along with officials from Údarás na Gaeltachta in Dingle 2004. As a result of that meeting the Acadamh were invited to Corca Dhuibhne to discuss with the Comharchumann the new language centred educational project.

Enterprise Centre
Údarás na Gaeltachta and the Acadamh from the National University of Ireland, Galway are presently in discussions with the view to develop 2 research/enterprise centres as part of the major development.

Public Facilities
Continuous discussions are taking place between the local community and the Department of Rural, Social and Gaeltacht Affairs concerning the development of public facilities in Baile an Fheirtéaraigh.

Family Support Centre
A family Support Centre which Naíonra Bhaile an Fheirtéaraigh and pre-educational childcare services are proposed as a facility under this new development.

Facilities for C.F.C.D.
In this premises there will be 12 offices, reception, dining room, toilets, store, board and meeting rooms. These board rooms will be available for groups in the community who wish to conduct meetings or training courses.
